"At risk", "in danger", "in harm's way" - these expressions remind us that life is not always safe and secure.  We take many steps to reduce this danger and insecurity.  We "street-proof" our children, install good snow tires in winter, support public healthcare, and save up money for a rainy day.

Financial insecurity is one area where we can take very concrete steps to reduce or eliminate our risk.  We protect our future income with employment and disability insurance, and we rely on government to protect the savings we put in our banks.

Harvey's Oil understands the need our customers have to control their costs and eliminate unexpected expenses that play havoc with budgets.  We have had equipment coverage plans for close to half a century!

However, we also realized that the most costly part of the heating system - the furnace - was not covered if the customer needed to replace it.  That's why - in 1989 - we introduced the Furnace Freedom® equipment coverage plans for hot water and warm air heating systems.

If our government-licensed oil burner technicians determine that your furnace cannot be repaired, and it is replaced under this plan, the furnace is yours, whole and entire.  There is no small print in the contract telling you that you have to pay back a portion of the cost of the furnace if you decide to sell your home!
